The built-in G-sensor automatically locks and saves the current video clip separately in the event of emergency braking or a collision, preventing it from being overwritten by the loop recording. A: Yes. The standard version comes with a front-facing + interior dual-lens module as standard, whilst the rear-view lens is an optional accessory. Users may choose between the “Dual-Lens Version” or the “Front + Interior + Rear Triple-Lens Kit” according to their requirements.
Q2: Do I need to purchase additional accessories for parking surveillance?
A: Yes. To enable 24-hour parking surveillance, you must select the Smart Step-Down Cable to connect the dashcam to the vehicle’s constant power supply. The step-down cable features a built-in low-voltage protection module that automatically cuts off power when the battery voltage drops below 11.6V, preventing the battery from draining and the vehicle from failing to start.
Q3: How is the reversing camera triggered?
A: The reversing detection wire (red wire) for the rear camera must be connected to the positive terminal of the vehicle’s reversing light. When reverse gear is engaged, the reversing light is energised, triggering a signal, and the DVR will automatically display the rear view in full screen.
Q4: Does the Wi-Fi connection use mobile data?
A: No. The WiFi signal emitted by the dashcam is a local area network hotspot. Once your mobile phone connects, it operates via point-to-point communication; therefore, neither previewing nor downloading files will consume your SIM card data allowance.
⚠️ Important reminder: This product does not include a memory card. We recommend using a high-speed TF card with a U3/UHS-3 rating and a capacity of 64GB–128GB to ensure stable recording of 1080p footage from all three channels without frame drops.
