Important Notes:

It worked, but why did the speed is not 1G?

A: There are 3 reasons that this problem happened:

1: Your other network devices such as routers do not support the 1G network speed.

2: Your own ethernet is less than 1G so this adapter can not reach the speed up to 2.5G because it can not boost the network speed.

3: Your ethernet cable does not support 1G network speed, only a cat6a or later type of ethernet cable can support 1G network speed.

(Tips: Cat5 cable's max speed is 100mbps; Cat5e cable's max speed is 1000mbps; Cat6 cable's max speed is 1000mbps; Cat6a cable's max speed is 10gbps; Cat7 cable's max speed is 10gbps; Cat8 cable's max speed is 40gbps)
