Precautions
Taboo population: Patients with severe thumb eversion, severe deformities of bones and joints, and difficulty in achieving ideal correction effects solely relying on orthotics. It is recommended to consult a doctor for surgical treatment; Individuals with damaged, ulcerated, infected or severe skin conditions on their feet are prohibited from using it to avoid exacerbating skin problems.
Allergy test: Before the first use, apply the orthotic device to the skin contact area, such as latex cushion, shaping tape, etc., on the inner skin of the arm and hold for 15-30 minutes to observe for any allergic reactions such as redness, swelling, itching, rash, etc. If allergic reactions occur, stop using immediately and contact a doctor or customer service.
Handling of discomfort during wearing: If you feel excessive pressure, unbearable pain, or numbness in a certain part of your foot during the wearing process, you should immediately remove the orthotic device and check if it is worn improperly or if the adjustment force is too strong. After taking a proper rest, readjust the wearing style and intensity and try again. If discomfort persists or worsens, seek medical attention promptly.
Product maintenance: After use, rinse the orthotic device with clean water to remove sweat, dirt, etc. Avoid using irritating chemical cleaners to prevent material damage. Air dry naturally, avoid direct sunlight or high temperature drying, and prevent deformation. Regularly inspect all components of the orthotic device, and promptly replace them with new ones if any looseness of the shaping band, failure of the adhesive buckle, or deformation of the toe support are found.
Children's use: Children need to use under the full supervision of their parents and choose appropriate sizes of child specific orthotics. Pay close attention to children's reactions during use to prevent them from pulling or chewing orthotics on their own due to discomfort, which may cause safety hazards.
