Hand-operated Pulse Sealer – 200mm Household and Commercial Plastic Sealer (European Standard 220V)
Product Details
The hand-operated pulse sealer is a compact yet powerful sealing device, suitable for everyday household use as well as continuous packaging tasks in small shops and workshops. It utilises pulse heating technology: the moment the handle is pressed, an electric current rapidly passes through the heating element to generate heat, and the machine automatically enters a cooling state once sealing is complete – no preheating is required, it does not consume power continuously, and it is both safe and energy-efficient.
With a sealing length of 200mm (7.87 inches) and a sealing width of 2mm, it can easily handle most plastic bags, coffee packaging bags, aluminium foil bags, kraft paper bags, and even heat-sealable non-woven bags. Pulse heating ensures a flat and secure seal without scorching the edges of the bag, maintaining an attractive seal line even after prolonged use.
Five Key Features
1. No preheating required; press and use immediately
The handle heats up instantly when pressed and cools automatically when released, eliminating the need to wait for preheating; seal whenever you need to.
2. 8-level precision temperature control
8-level rotary temperature control: low settings are suitable for thin OPP/PE bags, medium settings for standard food bags, and high settings for thick aluminium foil bags and kraft paper bags. We recommend starting at the lowest setting and increasing gradually to find the optimal sealing result.
3. Pure copper transformer – quality you can take apart and compare
Many cheap sealers on the market use aluminium-clad copper wire, which tends to overheat and has a short lifespan. The PS-200 uses 100% pure copper enamelled wire, wound neatly and tightly, resulting in low noise and minimal temperature rise during operation, as well as consistent and long-lasting sealing power. We are confident enough to show you the internal structure – the difference is plain to see.
4. Automatic power-off protection: safe and energy-efficient
The heating element automatically cuts off once sealing is complete, preventing overheating, thereby protecting the machine and saving electricity.
5. Ergonomic handle + sturdy body
The widened hand-press handle requires minimal effort, whilst non-slip pads on the base keep the machine stable and prevent it from shifting. The indicator light illuminates only during sealing, making the operating status immediately clear.
Suitable for a wide range of packaging materials
PE/PP plastic bags
Aluminium foil bags, stand-up pouches
Kraft paper bags
Non-woven bags (heat-sealable types)
Laminated films, gusseted bags, etc.
Three-step operating guide
Step 1: Open the bag and place the items inside
Position the opening of the plastic bag to be sealed on the heating strip, ensuring the contents are neatly arranged inside.
Step 2: Press the handle and wait for the indicator light to go out
Press the handle firmly; the indicator light will illuminate. Continue to press until the light automatically goes out (approximately 0.2–1.5 seconds, depending on the thickness of the bag).
Step 3: Allow to cool briefly, then remove the sealed bag
Once the indicator light has gone out, continue to hold the handle down for 1–2 seconds (to allow the seal to cool and set), then release the handle and remove the bag. The sealing process is now complete.
Tip: If the bag sticks to the sealing bar, the cooling time was insufficient; next time, wait an extra second before releasing the handle. If the seal is not secure or air leaks through, please increase the heat setting slightly.

Sealing performance comparison
In practical testing, the manual heat sealer produces a neat, attractive 2mm-wide seal with even pressure distribution. Compared to inferior sealers:
Better airtightness — Ideal for storing tea, dried fruit and small items, offering longer-lasting moisture protection and freshness.
No jagged edges or scorching — thanks to precise temperature control and a high-quality Teflon coating.
Consistent sealing across the full 200mm length — the heating element provides even support, ensuring the same sealing strength at both ends of the bag with no gaps.
Recommended sealing results for different materials: Plastic bags seal with a width of approximately 2mm; aluminium foil bags are equally smooth and secure; kraft paper bags seal without tearing at the edges; non-woven bags are resistant to tearing after heat sealing.
Applications
Food packaging: Coffee beans, tea, nuts, snacks, spices, homemade biscuits, etc.
Small shops/retail: Jewellery bags, handicrafts, stationery, moisture-proof packaging for electronic components
E-commerce packaging: Sealing of courier plastic bags and bubble wrap
Workshops/warehouses: Sealing of small parts, hardware components and rust-proof bags
Home kitchens: Portioning of leftovers, meal prep bags, sealing of frozen food
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
1. Does it need to be preheated?
No. It is a pulse sealer; the heating element only activates and generates heat when the handle is pressed down, so it is ready to use immediately.
2. Can it seal aluminium foil bags?
Yes. It seals aluminium foil bags, stand-up pouches and laminated films perfectly. We recommend using a higher setting (6–8), and pressing for an additional 2 seconds after the indicator light goes out to allow it to cool.
3. What should I do if the indicator light does not come on?
First, check that the machine is plugged into a 220V power supply and that the socket is live. The indicator light will only illuminate when the handle is fully pressed down. If it still does not light up, check the internal microswitch or contact our technical support.
4. How do I replace the heating element or Teflon tape?
Spare parts are included with the machine. Unplug the power supply, remove the top cover, take out the old heating element and tape, fit the new heating element and tighten it, then cover it with new Teflon tape. Detailed illustrated instructions are included in the packaging.
5. Does it have CE certification?
Yes. It complies with EU safety and electromagnetic compatibility standards (CE), is compatible with the 220V 50Hz mains supply, and is suitable for export to Europe.
