To achieve optimal drilling results and extend the life of the drill bit, please follow this two-step method:
Groove Positioning:
Set the angle grinder to high speed.
Tilt the drill bit and lightly rest it against the wall to grind a crescent-shaped positioning groove, preventing slippage.
Drilling and Chip Removal:
Slowly align the drill bit vertically.
Apply downward pressure at a steady rate whilst gently wiggling the drill bit (this is crucial!). Wiggling helps to clear debris and prevent the drill bit from jamming; never apply forceful, vertical pressure continuously.
Cooling:
Once the built-in cooling wax has been used up, we recommend using water for cooling, which can further extend the drill bit’s service life.
